Not sure what to say?

Dear Family, Stacy and I met at the Dallas Child Guidance Clinic in the fall of 1977. She was very welcoming to this out of towner, including me in her circle of friends and taking me on a trip with her date to visit her family in Houston. Smart, inquisitive, articulate, compassionate, and gifted as a therapist, I knew she was bound to be successful in her career. I happened on her obituary when I searched for her contract information wishing to invite her to enrolling in the certificate in...

Nellie, I was a old patient of your moms. Both in private sessions and with a men's group dealing with HIV/AIDS issues back in the 90's. You were around the group several times and your mother never tired of telling wonderful stories of you. I am so sorry to just now learn of your mother's passing and am saddened greatly for you. Please know for me your mom was truly a life saver. I will never forget her compassion, appreciate her guidance, or forget her laugh. Love and healing to...

Dear Nellie, Stacy was so loved and admired by her many cousins including John and Lynne Williams and our family, Blaine and Elizabeth. Lynne recollects how welcoming Stacy was when Lynne first joined the family and attended the family Christmas party at Mamoo´s and Papoo´s. Stacy was loving and lovely and shared her parents quick wit and intellect. Please know that your Houston cousins welcome you whenever you are in Houston. Your love and kindness to your mom no doubt greatly eased her...

Our condolences to Clare and her extended family in the loss of their sister, Stacy. During difficult times such as these, be reassured that your extended network of friends have your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Stacy is with Ned, Clare and Ted. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family and sisters.

While we had been out of touch for a few years, I remember Stacy fondly. She worked closely with my husband, Ron, during the AIDS crisis educating psychologists and others. I remember her as fierce and funny. Sending condolences and prayers for comfort.

My condolences to the family . May you find comfort in your treasured memories and Gods promise to return our loved ones . 1st Thessalonians 4 : 13&14.

Stacy was full of compassion and love for her family and work. I remember when we (elementary ages) stayed overnight at Mamoo & Papoo's home (grandparents). We would laugh, tell stories and play outside. She loved you so much, Nellie- and the memories are treasures for our hearts. Thank you for being such a special daughter and love and prayers for you and all the family. God Bless & Love, Irby

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She helped us through a difficult, confusing time with her patient, kind and very frank advice. Her office was such a warm, welcoming space. We felt very safe and comforting when we were there. I can only imagine how much you will miss her. We only met with her for a short time, but we will never forget her guidance when we were really lost.
