Not sure what to say?

I think of Stacy often even after so many years. We had good times going on mini trips to Tahoe and Elk. Phyllis Rahn and I worked with her at DFG and we had so much fun when we were able to get out of town. I wish I would have kept in touch with her more when I left DFG. I miss her. RIP Stacy.

Dear Doug,

In trying to find you we came across this very sad news. Playing the piano for your wedding was a joy for me as our parents were so dear to each other. You and your boys lost Stacy way too early. We had the love of our parents until this year. I wanted you to know that Daddy (Mack) passed away July 1st at 96 and Mother passed away Nov. 3rd at 93. Would you please let Gary and Tracey know also. Our love to you, and my family will hold you and your boys up in prayer...

I had the honor of knowing Stacy through my work with another public agency. CDFG Reg 2 and my agency collaborated regularly and Stacy was a critical link that kept everything coordinated. She is missed by many in the natural resource management community.

I was Stacy's neighbor. I will always remember her smile, and her kind heart. She was always so friendly and welcoming to me. She was a great lady. She will be missed so much. My heart goes out to all who loved her. Love Kelly

I just heard of Stacy's passing and was heart sick. I was a very good friend of hers during our 4 years at Foothill High School and was lucky enough to spend some time with her at our recent high school reunion. My prayers go to her family and many friends.

I knew Stacy in high school with a number of other people that have commented on this page. She was a wonderful person that I considered a good friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time.

My husband and I went to high school with Stacy and were previledged to share dinner with her at our reunion this past summer. My heart aches for her family. She loved you very much and was so proud of you. Our prayers for peace and comfort for you will continue. May your memories soften your loss. Malinda and Robert Bartels

Doug, Chance and Colton,

I was deeply saddened to read the notice of Stacy's passing. My memory of her is her always ready smile, kind nature and how much she enjoyed her "boys". I am so very sorry for your loss.

To Stacy's family: I am sorry for your loss. I first met Stacy at work in 1993 and have enjoyed her friendship since then. I have many fond memories of her. I will remember Stacy always helping other people and her laugh. Myself and so many others will deeply miss her.
