Stan Lawson

With great sadness, Stan passed in his sleep to the eternal coffee shop where he can forever enjoy a cup with his best friend, the late Roger Hamilton.

Born August 27, 1950 to the late William and Marion Lawson, he graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1968. He worked at Crawford Industries before retiring from Bowman and Cohee Construction in 2008 after 18 years. He married Terri Tolliver Haskett August 21, 1981 in Humble, Texas.

Stan enjoyed softball in his younger years, golf until his health declined and a cold Budweiser. He was a Nascar fan and enjoyed following IU sports as well as all the activities of the grandkids and great grandkids.

Surviving along with Terri are children Shonda Lawson, Stanette Balser, and Sean (Allison) Haskett. Grandchildren include Tyler (Karly), Meghan, Darek, Cameron, Keaton, Austin, Carter, Riley, and Ella. Great grandchildren include Sophia, Luke, Mason, and Gunner.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM Monday, April 28th at Burkhart Funeral Home.  After the visitation, there will be a procession to Oak Hill Cemetery North for a graveside service.
