WINETROBE, Stan 64, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from complications due to leukemia. Stan, a die-hard USC Trojan fan, whose brain was filled with all sorts of trivia, loved his wife, Dana, and daughters, Hailey and Carly, possibly even more than USC. Stan, a retired engineer, enjoyed...

Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of Stan's passing. He inspired me to attend USC and become a life-time fan. Enjoyed many happy memories of high school and college times spent together. Feel certain he is watching his beloved Trojans from above and can hear his Fight On cheers. Hugs to his family

I worked with Stan to take Project Grad golf tournament photos. I am so sad to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to Dana and the family. He was a wonderful, competent, volunteer, and a nice guy.

I'm so sorry about Stan! I will never forget how much he helped me when I was first learning how to use the computer! I didn't know he had passed away until I read the Explorer. Sending my love to you Dana, Hailey and Carly!

I first met Stan about twenty years ago when I was new to then Hughes Missile Systems. We ended up working together on a program and I helped him teach an intro course to Systems Engineering. He had a dry sense of humor and he could tell a million different stories - he was like a walking encyclopedia! I remember Stan as someone who cared about people, cared about his work, and he wanted to make sure that whatever he did, he made sure it was done right.

Stan's spirited dedication to the students and families of Oro Valley and the Amphi School District communities moved me to want to serve! His loving persistence in pursuit of Project Grad since 2004 has built an enduring, life-saving institution that will continue to thrive.

The Winetrobes are like a second family to me and Stan was such a treasured friend. My husband loved his dad jokes so much that he would collect good puns and jokes between our visits that he deemed "Stan worthy" so he could share them with him when we saw him again. He was always so kind and so caring. He really cared about how others were doing in a deep and sincere way. He gave a lot of himself to others and the community. Whenever I had a big purchase to make and thought about...

Stan was a one of a kind friend. Devoted to family and community, Kind and caring. He will be missed terribly,

I became friends with Stan in the 1970's when we were both young engineers working on the Maverick Missile Programs at Hughes Aircraft Company in Canoga Park, California. I had the honor of Stan's friendship through our Tucson Arizona years and on into our retirement years from Raytheon. I will always fondly remember the many memories of happy times spent with Stan during our years as friends. Stan will be remembered by family and friends as a true Gentleman and caring gentle soul with an...

I met Stan several months before Daniel Borg and my daugher Megan were married. From our first encounter he made me feel welcome and comfortable. He took fantastic wedding photos and I was so impressed how he passed on his talent and passion for photocraphy to his daughter Carly. He always seemed so relaxed and calm, no matter what was happening. Stan was always friendly and easy to talk to. I will miss your humor and smile Stan. May you be at peace.
