Not sure what to say?

Chris, Stan, and I played many a gig together. He was a phenomenal drummer, and an even better man.

My daddy was a wonderful father and a very devoted husband. RIP daddy, I love you very much and will miss you greatly. Take care of Mama and tell her I love and miss her.

I have known Stanley since the mid 50's when he returned home from the AF. It was because of him that I got into rudimental drumming, which helped me find a career in the Army Band system. I consider him and Gloria to have been as close as any family members. My deepest sympathy goes out to Donna and Julie.

Stan and Gloria were special friends of my parents and to me after they passed. He was my mentor as a drummer and we gigged with some of the same musicians 35 years ago. I will miss his phone calls to "catch up" and visit. He was a fine man and friend. He will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of performing with Stan early in my career. He was incredibly supportive and most importantly he laughed at all of my jokes! My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

The picture Chris posted is exactly how I remember Stan, always smiling and feeling good. We didn't hang out much, off the bandstand, but when he was on the gig it was a good time together. My condolences to those he leaves behind.

Donna, I'm so sorry , Hugs

A great man and inspiration to me. He visited me during my time of illness and gave me a spirit to drive on. I will forever remember his kindness and miss him. Such a great person. Not Gaddy
