I first found Cornerstone when I saw it on TV in 2004. I visited several times. I joined Cornerstone in 2017, but a year later I moved to another state. When I moved back to Virginia in 2020, I returned to Cornerstone, until Covid-19 hit. Pastor Bennett was truly an anointed vessel of God. I can remember our days in Brooklyn, New York while serving together at International Baptist Church. I was a teenager at the time, and he was a deacon and drove a church bus. He served faithfully and with a radiant and contagious smile. He loved the Lord, and he loved people. My sincere Condolences and Comfort to the Bennett family. I´m a classmate 1968 of Pastor Bennett know as Stanley in Fairfield 55 th Street. We lived on 57 th Street. I remember him as a kind and humble gentleman even in those days. We all walked the halls of Fairfield Industrial High School and still proud of our legacy. May your soul Rest In Peace and may God continue to Comfort you family. A Gentle Giant.
