A soft spoken man proud and true
A son and a cowboy through and through
He was a great man we loved to call
A husband, a father, a friend to all
He loved horses and his piece of land
A beautiful home built by his two hands
An eye for perfection, a passion for perfection
A heart filled with love and affection
He now lays in a restful peace
His mind and body finally at ease
His memory will live on, never fear
For in our hearts we hold him near

MY FATHER
Born in North Dakota, he was the oldest of five
To make Mom & Dad proud he did strive.
He left Big Sky Country - bound for the west coast
Found himself a wife whom he loved the most.
Three kids and thirteen years passed by
He returned to Montana and kissed city life goodbye.
He was an artist who loved to draw
Western art of what he saw.
Horses, Indians and mountain goats
An old house, a stagecoach his drawings did boast.
