May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

He knew the subject of Jazz, He was one of the very few Music Critics of the Original American art form that knew the ins and outs of it. Rest In Peace.

I send heartfelt condolences to the family of Stanley Crouch, who, in his lifetime, left us with a rich body of literary work displaying the depth of his understanding on certain aspects of music, art, and culture. Stanley Crouch placed an indelible mark of quality on a rare body of work that few have offered into the world.
