Not sure what to say?

I grew up with Stan living across the street from our family, the McQuinns, on Salem Road. He stood in the road playing baseball with us, using a pencil as a microphone and would "broadcast" our little kid games, play by play, and he was only 5 yrs old at the time. Of course, he continued this at every game we played. My brothers and I have alot of fun times and memories growing up living across the street from the David Family.

I was so sorry to hear about Stan; he was a happy part of my school life since Grant Jr. High. We shared a special time in our lives. My thoughts are with his family and Nan.

I am sorry to learn of Stan's passing! My sympathy to his family. Stan will diffently be missed.

Janet, so sorry for your loss. He looks like your father to me, but it has been so many years ago! Hope you are well.

I am so sorry to hear of Stan's passing.
As Springfield High School classmates, we all made that teenage journey together, and I will never forget it.
Sending good thoughts, and prayers.

I enjoyed the times I had spent with Stan, unfortunately I never got the chance to beat him at trivia, there are very few people I'd seek the approval of, now there is one less.

I will miss him...
Condolences to his family and Nan.

I had the pleasure of knowing Stan for the last four years of his life. He was fun and charming and outrageous. I could never predict exactly what he was going to do. But underneath the banter and humor was a deeply kind soul. I'm going to miss him.

He was proudest of his son, Marty, but I think he was second most proud of his membership in the Illinois Basketball Coach's Association Hall of Fame. A sports fan to the core, Fairfield just won't be the same without Stan calling...

It was a shock when I heard of Stan's passing. I hadn't seen Stan since high school and he missed the last reunion. Stan and I grew up together...he lived in Lincoln Acres and I lived on N. Lincoln. We had some great times together and he will be missed by all. I am sure that he is giving a play-by-play call on what we on doing here.........Please accept my deepest condolences......Mike
