Not sure what to say?

I want to remember Patti, Stan's utterly devoted wife and life companion, who died recently. They were a dynamic couple, adding value to each other's separate contributions to their roles as parents as well as civic stewards in the Wyoming Valley. My relation with Patti focused on our service to Wilkes University. Pattie chaired the committee that brought me to Wilkes as President and served on the board, including a term as chair, throughout my time at Wilkes. Stan, Patti, Jane and I...

Dear Patti, I welcome this opportunity to repeat my earlier comments on Stan AND you. Time passes and the sense of loss gently gives way to a sweet sadness, filled with memories of the good times. I have my family with me now for a few days and memories of Jane are everywhere. I am sure the same is true for you and your wonderful, remarkable family, feeling Stan's presence when you are together. Much love. Chris

My most sincere condolences to you Patti,(Ma), and the entire Davies family! What an awesome family and wonderful legacy you all are! Proof of what a great man Stan was! Blessings to you all!

Dear Patti, I just found out about your sad news and wish
I could see you and personally extend my heartfelt sympathies.
What a triumph your 70 years of married life were for you both, but also for your remarkable children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. From my vantage point, I saw his
extensive--and quietly rendered--service extended to the NEPA community. While we were brought together through you and Wilkes, my special time with Stan involved environmental activism. ...

To the Davies Family,

Jean and I are so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. We will remember him fondly as a community leader and more importantly , a kind soul. His warm smile will always be with us. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of God. May wonderful memories of him bring you all some comfort at this most difficult time.

Oh, Patti, I am so sorry for your loss. I am recalling memories Stan today ... a good and fine gentleman. Bless you.

Stan Davies will be so very missed. When I was working at the Northeast Office of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, I frequently sought out Stan's guidance and common sense approach. Stan's support of PEC, from its inception in the Northeast with Joanne Denworth, was critical for the formation of a regional conservation and environmental mission that lasts to this day.

My last memory of Stan is sitting down with him and Patti at their kitchen table and looking at a PA DCNR State...

Patti and family, Stan was a great friend. We had wonderful trips down the Susquehanna with our kids. Just one of many many great memories.
My heartfelt condolences. Dick
