Not sure what to say?

To all those who knew Stan as a great/or not so great fisherman; that depended on the trip; I will forever remember the man who first taught me how to bait a hook. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES. I can only hope that my dad and his wonderful friend, Stan, are throwing one moe cast and enjoying a highball together again.

The funeral service was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed! Much love to Aunt Evie and the girls and their families!

Evelyn, please accept my condolences. Tom and I always enjoyed bowling in our Saturday night league for Maplewood School, and the company of you and Stan. God bless.

Uncle Stan was a very favorite uncle and reminded me so much of my dad after we lost him two years ago. I remember all the grape wine he used to make & bring to us on the farm. Even as I child, I always wanted to taste his wine. A very favorite memory is finding an old love letter of his to a gal he knew before he met Aunt Evelyn. He had stuffed that love letter in a wall at his mother's house and when the wall was torn down, we found it. I played a trick on him (like he always used to...

I always looked forward to Uncle Stan and Aunt Evie coming up to the farm from Fort Wayne. There was always enjoyable conversation, fun times, and often potato chips.
A memory I will always have is of going out to the barnyard and shoveling up the best cow manure into containers. The first few times, I wondered why in the world Uncle Stan wanted cow manure to take back to Fort Wayne. Later I learned how much he enjoyed gardening. You can take the farmer away from the farm, but you can't...

I have many good memories of Stan we both worked at Rousseau Bros had many good times we both quit about the same time Stan went to Seyferts And I went to I&M Helen and I send our condolences.

I have many great memories of Uncle Stan. I always enjoyed visiting with him and Aunt Evelyn. He and I always teased each other; I'm not sure which one of us was more ornery. My dad used to say what one brother didn't think of, one of the others would and were all equally mischevious. I imagine they are up to their old tricks again. To Aunt Evelyn and family, hoping your hearts are soon filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. With much...

I valued Stan as a customer and friend for many years when I was with Fortmeyers Tires. He has always been honest, fair and kind. I am not physically able to extend my condolences personally but my thoughts and prayers are with Stan's family.
