Not sure what to say?

Doc Garrison taught me one thing that I will never forget, and that is how to tell if a cow has milkfever by the "S" curve in their neck. I'm the only one that can pick up on it between my mom and I. Doc will be missed, but his memories will live on.
My thoughts and prayers are with Doc Garrison family.

"Draft Horses - they're just like potato chips! You can't have just one!", and, "Draft Horse Fever - worse than chicken pox and easier to catch!". These were Doc's comments as he affectionately watched our son, Jared, and daughter, Kerith, become Belgian and Haflinger owners. Doc Garrison was an inspiration to generations of veterinarians

Doc. Garrison (Popie) was an amazing man and will be missed by all who knew him.

In my life, I've had the privilege of meeting many good men. Stan stood above those good men, he was, in many ways a GREAT man... My condolences to Shirley and the family.

I had many fond memories of Stan. I worked for him in the very early days of his practice. Before school I would do some plowing, on weekends I would go on calls with him. all very enjoyable and fun. I even baby sat his girls a few times so Mom & Dad could have time together. My condolences to all the family.

Although I never had the opportunity of meeting "Doc" Garrison, I have had the wonderful privilege of being a client at the Burnt Hills Veterinary Hospital. I, like many others was also given the privilege of being invited into his personal life via his book Burnt Hills veterinary Tails. Upon reading the last pages was the sadness that this story was coming to an end. On Oct 10th after learning of Doc Garrisons passing I had been sitting with one of my many cats and made the comment to her...
