Got the message of Stanley's death while visiting family in Germany. Met Stanley in 2012 at his club in Manhattan. Gail made this meeting possible. Sam, Stanley, Deb - Dinner at The Carlyle!
What an incredible man Stanley was. Traveling out to Colorado at 92, he became a very good friend. Last year, in April, we visited him in NYC and dined at his favorite 'Carlyle.'
