Not sure what to say?

A memorable professional colleague and friend. Anytime I see a Penny or any coin on the ground, I think of Stan, who collected such to help pay for education of his children.

I remember Fr Stanley from Mount Carmel in Bayonne. Deepest Sympathy to his Family.

I was just going through old papers, wondered about Stan, and after doing an internet search learned of his passing. Stan was a wonderful friend and mentor to me when I was in the Adult Education department of NY State. I recall his story about collecting pennies and saying that he was going to pay for the education of his children with those pennies. I wonder if he collected that many pennies. I think of him very fondly and wish the very best for his family.

As a Doctoral Student at BU, Stanley taught me to always be over prepared. One would ask a question and he'd pull the response out of his briefcase -- an overhead slide, a handout -- or he'd "pull" a story out of his head. My heart and my soul ache to learn of Stan's passing. My regrets to his family.

My family moved from Bayonne NJ when I was in 3d grade. As a young girl, the memory I have of Father Grabowski is seeing him in front of the school. I was sitting on a bus waiting to go home and he would reach into the open window and put a clothespin on my nose. He did that quite often. It's a fond memory and a story I have told over the years. RIP Father Grabowski. My deepest sympathies to Family and Friends.

He married me in 1964 and I got to know him from working with him. he was a gentleman
