Not sure what to say?

So sad to learn of Stan passing away. I just learned of this at the Chicago O Scale Meet this past weekend. I had known Stanley for many years, running into him either at the Rockford O Scalers Club, or at the March Meet. Stan was always a joy to talk too, and his passion for the hobby never seemed to wane. Look down upon us and smile. I will miss you Stanley. May your signals always be green my friend!

My father was in the Civil Air Patrol with Mr. Guyer, and I often saw Mr. Guyer when the CAP had meetings. There were four gentlemen in the CAP who often visited our house, and Mr. Guyer was one of them. As a little girl, I always felt like a lady because he treated me with kindness and respect, even though I was only in elementary school.
My condolences to the family. He was a wonderful man.

My condolences to the family.

To the Guyer Family:

Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We have been neighbors for the last 47 years and you will be missed.
Family hold on to God's unchanging hand as God continues to strengthen and give you peace and comforts you.

A couple of us model railroading fellows happened to start talking about Stan this past Saturday (Feb. 11) and now (Feb. 14) I just found out Stanley has died. I first met Stan in 1963 at the Forest City Model Railroad Club on Railroad Avenue just off 7th Street. Stan was well-liked by us all, and I pretty much kept in touch with him until fairly recently. So sad, but I was privileged to know him and be his friend. --Mike Schafer, Lee, Illinois (born and raised in Rockford)
