Stanley B. Hanson

When Stan was Brother Daniel at St. Francis HS in Wheaton, IL, he was assigned to direct the Mixed chorus as well as the Boys' Glee Club. Many of us girls thought he was really cute (red hair, good looking, great personality, etc.) He was only with us for one year, but we loved thinking about him and wondering what he was doing then. Many years later we found him via another former Brother, and got together with him again. We had many adventures with him which included him and wife Bonnie...

Stan Hanson is my Dad and he's the smartest person I've ever known. He taught me Cribbage at a very early age -- can't tell you the number of games we've played in my lifetime. He taught my husband when he joined the family and my children and grandchildren. It was a right of passage when someone would beat my Dad in Cribbage. There was always lots of laughter around the Cribbage table. My family will miss that and so much more.

I will miss your laugh and book suggestions, Stan. And thank you so much for sharing your wonderful wife, Bonnie, with our little group of high school friends. Many good memories.
