Not sure what to say?

Gloria & family, my very deepest condolences. I have such wonderful memories of our parties together and will always be honored to have known you.

My deepest condolences to Gloria and Anndee Hochman and family. So sad to hear of Stan's passing. Such a great guy..always enjoyed talking with him and making him laugh and vice versa. He also introduced me to the wonderful Vilma, and that was so special to me. My heart goes out to you and your family at such a difficult time. So sorry for your loss. Remembering Stan from the Township Travel days and the laughs we had.
Rest In Peace, Stan!

The Adelman and Love families send deepest condolences to the Hochman family. Mr. Hochman was an icon and inspiration who will not be forgotten, by those who he worked with as well as his admiring audience. Rest in peace.

Dear Gloria and Family,
In deepest sympathies I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers! Stan was one of Philly's greatest journalists ever. He was a master at his craft as Ray mentioned. God Bless Stan the Man!
Regards,
Pat

I want to thank Mr. Hochman for all the enjoyment he gave me in reading him and listening to him on radio. Thank you Mrs Hochman and the family for allowing me that enjoyment. Vaya con Dios Mr Hochman!

It's hard to believe Stan has passed away. He was supposed to go on forever, or at least that's how it feels to me. He was one of the giants of the sports writing biz when I moved to Philadelphia in 1969, to be awestruck by the work, and ultimately, the joy of knowing guys like Stan, Sandy Grady and George Kiseda.... I was 25 when I met Stan. I guess he was 40. I admired a long list of writers in Philadelphia but Stan and George were special to me. As overmatched as I was working against...

I will never forget working with and for Stan Hochman at the Philadelphia Daily News as a sportswriter in the late 1960s. He showed an incredible knowledge of many sports and was able to make them interesting to many readers. I pray that his family will have comfort, peace and strength in this trying time. I am so sorry for their loss.

His wit, knowledge and overall presence will be greatly missed! He was a true legend in Philadelphia. Rest in peace Mr. Hochman. Thoughts and prayers to Mr. Hochman's wife, daughter, her life partner and granddaughter.
