Not sure what to say?

Hey Stan. I miss working with you at Porter Hills. You always put such value on education and wanted me to go back to school. I promised you if I stuck with home health work for a year, I'd start looking into furthering my education. It took more than a year but I kept that promise to you. I passed my CNA exams and am looking into RN. Thank you for pushing me to do more and be better. I miss you, your smile, and our conversations but I'm so happy you're back with Sue and your son. Rest easy...

My family just learned of Stan's death. We know Stan from Cascade Trails, where he was in the memory unit with our mother, Virginia Loftis. We got to know Stan and his caring ways toward the residents of the unit. He was a character! Our mother passed away on May 23, 2023. Thus, we were not aware of Stan's death. We send our condolences to his family. Be at peace, Stan. You were a good man!

Rest in eternal peace Stan. Such wonderful people both Stan and Susan. Indeed, you have been rewarded.

What a privilege it was to get to know Stan in the final season of his life. He was so kind and thoughtful. Even when his mind didn´t work the way it used to. He would always ask me, "How can I help you?" That thoughtful question epitomized his life of service. Love and peace to the family, Chaplain Nathaniel "Than" Johnson, CorsoCare Hospice

Stan was a great man and a great Lion. It seems that men like Stan are few and far between these days. I hope that all who knew him work to emulate him. I wish his family my deepest condolences and want them to know that they had a very special person in their lives to love and look to for guidance and support. Stan, you are in my memory and will be missed. Lion Deck
