I'll never forget how Stan somehow made his way to our downtown Albany apartment and baked a cake for me and my roommate, while we were desperately searching for him in the Colonie, NY shopping center we'd all visited in 1971. Our sweet and gentle cousin Stan was taken away much too soon from all of us who loved him!
