It has been 12 years to the day. The memory is blurry about what we spoke about in our trip to turn in laundry on FOB Warrior and the details forgot but you my friend will never be forgotten.

You taught me some things in your lesson brother. You taught me to pay attention to the nuances....to never betray trust (even for positive reasons)...you taught me how ignorant people can be. Here i am somewhere between your birth and death , always the hardest part of the year for me. Thinking about you pal. It could always be better.

We went to boot camp together, he was my best friend for 10 weeks. Somewhere in storage I still have photos of us after graduating boot camp and drinking a beer, it was a great memory.
