Dear Jaffe Family: I was saddened to learn of Stan's passing. I will always remember the wonderful trips with him in 5811L. He taught me so much that I'll be forever grateful. Our condolences Jerry and Betty Obney

I worked with the Jaffe family at Jaffe Shoe Corporation for 12 1/2 years. While working their I learned many aspects of the business world that has helped me through the years and in my current job at the Akron Machining Institute, Inc. for 21 years. Please accept my sympathy on your loss.

DEAR JAFFE FAMILY: AS A YOUNG GIRL I REMEMBER MEETING STANLY JAFFE SEVERAL TIMES. MY FATHER JAMES PARKER WORKED FOR HIM WITH THE SHOE COMPANY. MY DAD WAS THE MANAGER OF TWO SHOE STORES ONE IN CHARDIN OHIO AND ONE IN ELLET OHIO BOTH WERE CALLED PARKERS SHOES. I RECALL AN INCIDENT THAT IMBARRASED MY DAD! MY TWIN BROTHER DENIS AND I WERE PLAYING IN THE STOCK ROOM OF THE STORE ON CANTON ROAD (WE WERE BEING NOISEY) AND MR JAFFE CAUGHT US,(HE WAS VISITING THE SHOE STORE) HE PRETENDED TO BE STERN!...

Upon each visit with our Uncle, it was with giddy enthusiasm that we would receive a ‘bear hug”. My sister and I lit up as we saw my Uncles arms stretched out ready to issue the biggest and best bear hugs. On subsequent visits, we were challenged to top that last hug.
I will always remember Uncle Stanley’s smile, as it was like pure sunshine. On occasion, that smile would reveal a very impish side of my Uncle, one that I’d see in his baby sister, my Mother. He was absolutely...

Stanley and his father Sam was a great influence on my life. They were teachers of the values in work and life and I am better for Stanley's guidance.
