As an 11 year old I was lucky enough to see Stan play for the Indianapolis Indians back in 1959.

A great ball player and a crowd favorite.

I'm emailing from Canada and want to say that I remember Stan very well from the time he spent in the Pacific Coast League, especially that great year he had playing at San Diego in 1960. (.330). Stan Johnson was definitely one of my Baseball Card Heroes.
