Not sure what to say?

I was stationed with Stanley at RAF Croughton from 1963 to 1967. Stanley was my best man and a great friend . I stayed with Stanley and Diana in Queens while waiting for my wife to come from Enhland. We lost touch but think of him all the time.

My Grandpa, Stanley, was the most generous and intelligent person I have ever met. He loved teaching, learning, and his family more than anything. He touched all of our lives so deeply. I miss hearing the stories he’d tell and the sound of his deep laugh. I owe any and all of my accomplishments to him. He was a true New Yorker. We will miss him forever.

I took three courses with him in 1999 and 2000 at CUNY Graduate Center. I was amazed by his precision in mathematics and his ability to present the material without carrying any notes with him in class. He was a great teacher with a welcoming personality. Also, very punctual. I will miss him.

I will always remember seeing him on his bike just before City College as I biked there also. One time he showed me a slight adjustment in my route that made everything easier.

I was in Stanley's complex analysis class as an undergraduate at CCNY. For years after, we passed each other on our bicycles riding up and down Riverside Drive. And sometimes I'd see him shopping at the Fairway. An upper west side fixture. I'll miss him

Stan was always a class act. Considerate, unpretentious, friendly and helpful. I will miss him.

Very sad. Stanley was a very sweet guy and a pleasure to work with.

Our deepest sympathies. May light guide you and your family.
