I have 36 yrs of remembrances with pappy…..18 of which were growing up right next door. I have so many memories that I could share but it would take days to do so. I can honestly say every memory was a good one and when I think about them, it puts a smile on my face. Pappy, as I sit here and think of you, I cry. You have touched my heart in so many ways. I have learned a lot from you and most of all how to clown around and have a sense of humor. You were one intelligent man and boy did you know your history, geography, etc.. Sometimes those lil mind quizzes were difficult. Lol... But I loved every one of them. You and Grammy have always been an inspiration to me from the moment I can remember. You both were so happily married and in love, raised beautiful...

So sorry for your loss.Your Pap was a sweet man. He alway pulled a quater from our girl's ears. When he visit Barb and Dave when she babysat for us. God bless and prayers are being sent your way.

This is what Stanley and I talked about at a previous funeral. He told me he and my dad, who was his cousin used to run around the Newport fairgrounds in a car that my dad had before he went into the service. Learning things about my dad is very important to me. Stanley was my little brother Gary's Father in Law. My Sisters and Brothers and I had different fathers. My Dad was killed in WWII. My brother married his Stanley's daughter Eve.
