I felt privileged to be able to spend some time with Stan and get to know him. He was instantly warm, personable and, indeed, very likeable. I remember the first time I spoke with him on the phone after you two had married and were planning a trip to visit us. To Jackie, I am so sorry for your loss. Stan was a wonderful man, as you know, he was one of my favorite drive-up people at the Better Banks . He will be greatly missed by me.

My deepest sympathy to Jackie and family during this time of great sorrow. I have many fond memories of working with Stan at UTP and will always remember his quick wit and humor.

Our hearts are overflowing with thankfulness for Stan, a wonderful friend for almost 60 years. He was a great older big brother to me in our Delta Tau Delta fraternity at University of Texas, and a much loved roommate. We had hoped to have him visit us here in San Antonio, but now that happy visit will need to be postponed for another time and another place.
