Stanley W. Mayes

So sad to just heard of Stan's passing , we were coworkers for the City of Denver for years and became good . took a trip to Alaska together what fun that was , to many memories and deals to even list . we lost touch for awhile and reconnected just shortly before he passed and sadly couldn't get a hold of him again last summer never knowing he'd left us . just found out today while talking to another friend about someone else who had passed so i got a double whammy !! RIP my friend maybe...

We are so sorry for your loss Mayes' family. Stan was a good man and amazing father whose influence on Marcus will always be remembered. He was a good friend and always around to help anyone that needed it. We wish you all peace in the great memories you have.

I am sadden by his passing. He was such a nice guy. I very much enjoyed our conversations. He will be missed. Sending prayers to his family. He spoke of all of them often.

We moved in right next to the Mayes family 23 years ago. It wasn’t long before we met Stan and learned of his friendly helpful and funny character. In those 23 years I’ve told many family and friends what perfect neighbors the Mayes are.
Stan told me I could borrow any tool I wanted at any time. That he knew where it was if he ever needed it back.
We are so sorry for the family’s loss and loss of our wonderful neighbor.

Stan was a huge positive influence to my family as I am sure he was to many. He taught me how to build car engines and many other very handy things along the way. I am going to miss him and his great advice about anything I needed to know. He was a one in a million personality.
