Stanley "Stan" Paul Melson passed peacefully on January 27, 2017 in his home. He was born July 22, 1944 to Paul and Flois Melson in Clarksville, Arkansas. Stan grew up in the Kansas City area raised by Flois and Norman Sherwood. Stan attended North Kansas City High School graduating in 1962....
Read MoreStan was such a kind person. He told me a joke once that cracked me up so I returned the favor. We started joke trading like it was a challenge to see who got who! I've only just heard of his passing and am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember his laugh!

I will forever cherish your humor, your generosity, your sweet nature. I have so many wonderful memories of love and laughter. Tim is planning to have dinner with the serving fork in your honor. I should have sent you more Hawaiian shirts. Hope your suspenders hold up and your tie isn't crooked!
