Not sure what to say?

Still missing this young man RIP

Thinking of you always Uncle Stanley. I see you in my fathers smile and the light of his eyes. You were always the quietly happy one and I will never forget the time I spent with you, Aunt Glenda, and both of my cousins when I came and lived with you for a while (I still have the scar to remind me as well and it's one of my most fond memories). The simple thought of you will warm my heart for the remainder of my life.

Loving you always,
Paul's daughter and
Your niece

The Mitchell family will forever hold a special place in my heart. I still feel the power of their optimism, endurance, and love for mankind. What a beautiful family, inside and outside.

Each month of the year I think of you, but even more so from January to March (the months you were missing); then comes the last Monday in May (Memorial day) followed by September 5 (your birthday), November 11 (Veteran's Day), and finally Christmas--all without you and that heart-warming smile. It's been hard not being able to call you or send an e-mail...you and I had just begun to share pictures by e-mail when, suddenly, you were gone. I truly treasure those transmissions in December,...

I am so glad that you have this. I know here at the Board of Veteran's Appeals we miss him alot. He was a very stand up guy. I miss his leadership. He was my friend and we will never for get him. May God Bless you all and keep you all safe.

I am looking at his picture at my desk as I write this . I really do miss him very much. He was such a dear friend.

Today marks one year since I purchased this site as a memorial to my brother Stanley. It has been a great help to me and others. I will keep it open indefinitely. I look forward to reading entries by many more friends and family members in the future. Thanks to those who have already contributed to Stanley's lasting memory.
