Swartz Funeral Home - Flint Obituary

MORRIS JR., Stanley W. – Of Flint, age 73, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at his residence.


A funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. 


Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.


Visitation 2-8pm Wednesday and 12 Noon Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home. 


Stanley was born in Flint, Michigan on November 26, 1950, the son of the late Stanley W. and Demple (Johnson) Morris. He married Bonnie Farney on July 23, 1970 in Flint, Michigan. Stanley worked for General Motors and retired in 2007. After retiring he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Bonnie. Above all else, Stanley loved his family, especially his grandchildren.


Surviving are wife, Bonnie Morris;


children, Robin Morris, Jody (Marie) Morris, Scott Morris and Todd (Kimberly) Morris;


11 grandchildren;


16 great-grandchildren;


brother, Brian (Tina) Morris;


sister, Gail (Jeffery);


and many nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley W. and Demple Morris.

I knew Stan from 1st, grade to 6th grade "Carmen Park Elementary" I haven't seen him since then & am sorry to hear of his passing!
