OSOWSKI, Stanley D. - Of Grand Blanc, age 84, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 Holy Family catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw, Grand Blanc,

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with a military graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kellogg Eye Institute in Ann Arbor or a charity of one?s choice.

Visitation 6-8pm Monday and 11am-8pm Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10:30am Wednesday at the church until the time of the Mass.

Stanley was born in Flint on February 17, 1931, the son of the late Theodore and Mary (Lukaszewski) Osowski. Stanley served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post #822, American Legion Post #0413, Moose Lodge #2344 and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Stanley worked for Buick for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Stanley enjoyed hunting, fishing and bird watching. On April 1, 2000, he married Judith Renke.

Surviving are wife, Judy:

children, Gale and husband Francis Krcmarik of Grand Blanc and Suzanne and husband Jeffrey Byard of Exton, PA;

grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Peter, Alexander and wife Shannon and Stephanie;

step-children, Deborah Pavone, Anthony Pavone, Donna and husband Scott Witnauer and John and wife Tracy Pavone, all of Grand Blanc;

step-grandchildren, Victoria, Rachel, Blake, Dominic, Leah, Sophia and Liliana;

great-grandson, Finnian Byard; and many nieces and nephews.

Stanley was also preceded in death by his first wife Virginia, siblings Bernie, Valentine, Victoria, Antoinette and Mary Ann.

I had the privilege and blessing to have interviewed Stan at pulmonary rehab. He made a big impression on us in the short time he was able to attend rehab. We are deeply sorry for your loss and I know the glory of God in heaven is with Stan now.
