Ruth and family my condolences. This is John Kline out of garrettsville I am partly related to you as my sister Cindy married rick purdy. They are divorced but he is still my brother in law. Stan is still talked about in gville. The fierce Windham Garfield rivalry. 3,000 people at Windham or garrettsville at a football game. The 74 Windham team went 10-0 and the 1st portage county team to make the playoffs. I graduated in 1980 at Garfield but I do remember like it was yesterday the rivalry....

I just learned of Coach Parrish's passing. Heart broken to say the least. We shared many special moments in the meeting room, practice field, and on game day. RIP Coach. Thank you!

We want to send our sincere sympathy to Ruth and family on Coach Parrish's passing. I remember Coach Parrish well, being a student football manager for Wabash College and spending my last few years serving as his nearly right hand man after he became head coach. I got to know not only him as a coach but as a humorous friend as for example him telling me he was going to push me for the All-American team when I was a senior. Of course student managers are not chosen to All-American teams. But...

Will not be able to attend due to my physical condition, Parkinson´s disease. So many wonderful times together. I miss him and love him
