Upon Dave´s meeting our new English Bulldog puppy in his kitchen at Valleyfields Farm 10+ years ago, he asked me what was his name. I replied: "Cannoli". Dave asked: "What´s a Cannoli?" I then replied: "It´s an Italian pastry." In his unique and charming voice, Dave asked: "Why would you ever name a handsome dog after a lazy socialist?" Classic Dave making another simple moment special. Love you, man!

He was so humble and kind as we talked about employees we both remembered. He was so gracious and thanked me for talking with him. His family will...
