Gram,
Darin and I are so glad you and Gramp were able to make it to Kansas to celebrate our wedding with us. Having you both there meant so much. And I'm so happy that he was able to see our little girls join the family. He will be missed, but we know you both shared many special years together, and nothing can take that away. We love you very much Gram, and will continue to keep you in our prayers.
Love,
Darin, Amanda, Cheyenne & Alecia

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
