Not sure what to say?

I was in Mr.Sherman's 6th grade class in 1957, he was my very first male teacher, I know that sounds strange, but "in those days", there were not many men grade school teachers. I remember liking him very much although he said my handwriting was neat, but I wrote too small for people to read. Looking back, he was right, but I always remembered that and endeavored to make my handwriting readable. You will be missed Mr. Sherman and our prayers go out to your wonderful family.

Mr. Sherman was my 6th grade teacher at Minnehaha Grade School. My fondest memories are of playing chess with him instead of going to recess, or back early from lunch. I even beat him with a pawn and a castle once, although now as a grandparent I imagine he helped me a bit! He instilled in me an appetite for learning and working hard that took me to the sky!

Sorry to hear of the loss of my cousin. May God give you all peace and great memories of Stan. Wish we could be there for his service but we will be in New Orleans.

Julie, Jon and family I am so sorry for your loss. He is up in heaven, outta pain and peaceful..
I've know you and your family for many years, I wish all the best for you.. Your all in my prayers..

I had Mr. Sherman as my 5th grade teacher at salmon creek. He was a great no nonsense teacher. To the family I'm sorry for your loss.

Sherman family, I am sorry to hear of your loss.

Stan, it is not easy to say good-bye to a friend, so Joy and I always bid farewell with the thought that we will see you in the morning. Rest in peace.

Mr. Sherman was one of those teachers that you always remember. He was my 6th grade teacher at Minnehaha during the 1961-62 school year. He imparted a love of learning that lasts to this day. My thoughts go out to your family.

Prayers go out to family.
