Stanley B. Williams

Stanley B. Williams, age 71, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2010. He was born on September 16, 1938 to the late Eugene and Queen Esther Williams. Stanley was a 1958 graduate of McKinley Senior High School and retired from Republic/LTV Steel. He was a long time member of Apostolic Faith Assembly. Stanley was well known in the community, one could always find him at "The Cross" sharing his faith and giving a word of hope. Stanley had a special love for his wife, Estelle, his children and grandchildren. Stanley was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Estelle Williams, of the home; his children, Stanley E. Williams of New York City, NY, Damon Barrino of Buffalo, NY, Sesley H. Williams of Las Vegas, NV, Jacqueleen "Buffie" Williams of Canton and Autum Winn of Massillon; step-children, Dougy Redmon of Las Vegas, NV, Monique (Tony) Andrus of Canton and Debra (Herb) Harris of Charlotte, NC; brother, Garrett (Jennette) Williams of Akron, OH; sisters, Margene Bashien of New York City, NY and Francis Williams of Maumee, OH; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and several very close friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 12pm at Apostolic Faith Assembly (1823 7th St. N.E., Canton, OH 44704) with Dr. Kermit Greene officiating.
