Uncle Stand - you were not just my uncle, you were my parent. I am sorry I never got a chance to say goodbye. My life has always been better because you were in it and is lesser now that you are gone. I never stopped thinking of you and missing you. The memories I have of you are things I cherish. There just do not seem to be words to say how much I will miss you. Be at peace and know that I love you always.

Thanks for being the amazing influence that you were, Stan. You made a huge difference in the lives you touched, and you are missed. Truely one from "The Greatest Generation". Although the nation lost an amazing American, your memory will live forever. My heart goes out to all who he touched. Thanks for being you, Stan!
