I met Quiet in the winter of 2006/2007 when I moved to Harrisonburg. I worked at the bicycle shop he frequented downtown. He had very particular ideas about handlebar ergonomics and brake cable routing. Over the next few years we built up a friendship based on bicycles and my genuine interest in this character. I have known/known of Quiet T Please since I was a small child. He lived in my neighborhood and my earliest memories of speaking with him were when I would ride my bike to 7-11 with my brothers for slurpees.
