Not sure what to say?

A few nights ago, I had a vivid dream I was in a bar with Stan. He recognized me when I walked in and we talked a long time. I woke up affected, as it was quite real. Days later, I remember it well, despite rarely remembering dreams more than a moment. I hadn't seen him in nearly 30 years, back when I was an Assistant Pro at Bala GC. He was so gracious with me then, and even had to me to Rolling Green. This prompted me to look for him, understanding I would likely find this. He was a treasure...

If you were destined to go through life with only one friend, pray that it would be Stan Friedman for he defined friendship. Honey, Aaron, Bobbi, all the Friedman family. Joan and I are with you every step of the way.

A great loss!

Stan was one of my early mentors while I was a caddy at Bala during the 70's. Stan always made me feel welcome while at the same time providing me direction along life's pathway. I grew up without a father, and have always looked upon him as a great influence. I will truely miss him.

I was saddened to hear that Mr. Friedman had passed away. He was a wonderful gentleman and I so enjoyed filming him for my documentary film with master tailor Joe Centofanti.

I'd like to extend my condolences to his lovely wife Honey.

Just found out...very sorry. Stan was a great friend of GAP and golf. He was of huge help to me a few years ago and I will never forget.

Honey,
You and Stan were always a fabulous couple. From the J Wood Platt to the Exec Comm at GAP and the times at Atlantic City CC you two were the best.My condolences.

Ron and Honey,

I am so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. The energy and enthusiasm for life that he had was contagious. I always looked forward to seeing him. Recently those times were more rare but even more special. Stan was a great role model and though unrelated acted as one of my very close uncles.
