Not sure what to say?

Missing you Brother. It's been eight years. Seriously sucks man. Think of you nearly ever day still. You now have a chair at the National Zoo memorializing you. The seat is P11. It's on the end of the center aisle. 2nd row from the back. Easy in and easy out. Your chair will have a plaque affixed to it saying the following:

Dear Kathleen,
We are saddened by the untimely passing of your beloved son Joe. We have wonderful memories of Joe, our friend and neighbor. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to his brothers, Brian, Henry and sister Missy. Kathleen, you are still my good friend from Walden Rd. I think about you a lot. God Bless and grant you the strength and patience during this difficult time. We all share in your loss.
Sincerely,

I knew Stan and all the Millers from around the way growing up. After spending some time in the Navy back in the 80's I walked into the Bicycle Place to buy my first trek saw Stan for the first time in many, many years. He immediately knew who I was I talked to me like we had seen each other last week.

Every time I went into the bike place I looked forward to talking with Stan. Even when he was really busy turning a wrench he would make time to say hello and ask how you were...

Brian - I am truly sorry about the loss of your brother. My prayers are with you and your entire family.

Riding the C&O Canal

I will miss Stan forever. He was a dear friend and inspiration in my life. Among many other things, he nourished my interest in mountain biking and taught me better riding techniques. I told him I was going to buy a new bike and he wouldn't let me without him being there to make sure I got one that was the right size and with quality parts. I rode the entire C&O canal with Stan a couple years back - he would race ahead of us to get to camp early and make sure he had a hot meal waiting for...

Our children dearly loved Joe(Stan), affectionately known as their " Uncle Skunk." He taught them to be interested in new places and new things when he brought them gifts from Costa Rica, he encouraged them to try new foods that he'd made, and he demonstrated his connection with them when he dropped by with a perfect gift he'd found just for each one of them: a really cool red wagon for Emma, fancy shoes for Isabella, and a wolf rocking ride-on toy for Luke. The snow pants he gave them kept...

I am so sorry for your loss. I know its hard to imagine, but the pain will eventually subside, and the love and memories will always stay in your hearts. Your famaily will be in my thoughts and prayers.

When tragedy strikes and takes the life of our loved ones, many cry out with great sorrow. Your tears are not unnoticed by Our Heavenly Father. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, prayer to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible assures us God "is healing the broken hearted ones, and is binding up their painful spot." Psalm 147:3 Please accept my deepest sympathy.
