Not sure what to say?

Dorothy (Dotty) and family, We are very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking with Stanton and miss seeing you both here at Cottages by the Sea. Most Respectfully, Roger and Linda.

A wonderful colleague, incredible clinician, and a good man. He will be sorely missed in the clinical community.

Dr. Samenow was a true professional.

Stanton was my classmate at Woodrow Wilson High School--class of 1959. Not only brilliant, but a very congenial, decent guy. Rest in Peace, Stanton. Amy S. Mann

I will so very much miss my E-mail communication and professional consultations over these recent years. I have always shared my view of Dr. Samenow as the "Mickey Mantle of criminal studies". His compassion and brilliant insights and distinctive assessments of the criminal personality represented "A Home run every time!" I lost my professional Hero and Hall of Famer as I compare Dr. Samenow to that other great slugger, MM. My deepest condolences to his wife, sons and grandchildren and other...

Stanton was a dear friend to my parents (and a lifelong friend of my father's) and was a delightful presence throughout my entire forty-odd year life. Even years after both my parents died, Stanton made sure to regularly reach out to check on my sister and me. His humanity and devotion will not be forgotten. May his memory be a blessing to Dotty, Jason, and Charles, as well as all those he touched.

Probably the best Psychologist to understand and put it in plain view, the actions and understanding of criminals.

Stanton was one of the most interesting people I have ever known. A three hour conversation with him seemed to last about 10 minutes. His grasp of criminal behavior was amazing and his Inside the Criminal Mind is a classic. We will miss his friendship and his many telephone conversations. Our condolences to Dottie and the Samenow family. Terry and Carolyn Leap, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Wonderful neighbor, kind and unassuming. Condolences to his family
