Nice Christian Women

Oh Star, a bright light that helped me become the woman I am today. I wish I knew where you had moved to after leaving Coral. I wish I could have told you everything you meant to me before you passed on to God. I so enjoyed stopping by and visiting you on my way to and from Grandma and Granpa's house. We lost touch these past several years and I just recently found out about your passing. I remember when you took me to see E.T., I loved our walks around your property, I treasured the...

Star was a great person and I will always remember the first time I met her at Rayzo's (my Dad) property with Jerry asking if she could take the moss that was growing under the tree to school with her for her class. She was always so nice and thoughtful of others. I am so sorry for your loss Jerry. You are like a second dad to me and I love ya. May your great memories of Star bring a smile to your face and warm your heart. You will be together again....love you!

Star was an all-time favorite teacher of mine. Such a strong, fun, energetic women - truly inspirational. I always point to her when asked why I went into geology. It was an honor to be her student and I will hold close the many fond memories of her.

Much...

Star-Mars was my very first high school teacher and one of my absolute favorites. I remember all the competing for the coveted “plus ones” she’d dole out for particularly insightful comments or questions. I remember leading the charge to resurrect the Colorado trip with a bizzare gift of a coconut and her disappointment when I wasn’t picked to go. I...

Star, you were a woman of God and a very dear friend. Some of my fondest memories are of you, Marietta and myself having Bible study every week. You will be missed. My prayers and condolence to the family.

I did not know Star closely, but in the time I did know her, I always saw the light of Christ our Savior in her. I am sorry she is gone, and yet rejoice that I know she is with Jesus. Say hi for me, Star.

We are so sorry to hear of Star's passing. It was a joy to teach with Star since her start at Rockford. Always professional and caring to her co-workers and students. Her smile would light up a room. She will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
