Not sure what to say?

I learned of Starr´s passing today and was stunned. When a young 14 year old walked into El Dorado High School for his first day of school in a town, he knew nobody, the first person I met was Starr Gaschler. Starr had the school hall locker next to mine and introduced herself to me before that very first class. That friendship would continue for another 56 years. Sometimes in closer and more frequent contact than other times, the feeling of that first smile, greeting and infectious laugh...

Starr was such a delightful encourager to me and my friends that met with her weekly (until Covid) for Bible Study at Miriam´s house. We loved hearing about her travels and student successes! Starr you are missed!

Mrs. Palumbo was my favorite teachers at Ready Springs. I'm 40 now but still think of her. She and her family are in my heart and thoughts. She brightened so many lives.

Another angel was taken back to Heaven. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her. God bless all of you.

I worked with Starr at Ready Springs for a time. I will remember her as a kind and lovely woman who truly cared about her students and friends. I lost touch with her after she left but wish I had tracked her down. I would have liked to spend more time talking to her. Blessings to those she leaves behind.

Starr you were always a Bright Shining Star. Many memories of adventures when I was a child. Hugs in Heaven.
