Steele was a lifelong friend of my late Father who also served in the Army with him. Steele and Waynette became dear friends of our family in the years to follow. I always enjoyed the stories of the experiences my Father and Steele had while serving in the Army. He will surely be missed.

Steele was dear to our whole family. Our children delighted in the swimming pool, especially when he opened the slide. Roger, Stacey and I cherish our famous boat trip with Steele and Waynette in the San Juans. He was a friend who shall be missed.

To the Ferguson Family
We are deeply saddened by your loss. I will cherish the memories of the times Steele and I spent together. We would sit at my kitchen table for hours and talk. Steele always stopping to ask if I was sure my husband Henry wasn't getting jealous. I loved him. I will never forget him. I want you to know he was very proud of his family. He spoke so endearing about all of you.
