I am grateful for the years spent with Steele and Joan and Carrie, Megan and Andy. Grateful for Mary and the years of joy they shared together. Family time was important and they shared time travelling together...Thinking of you all as you remember the good times and pray you dwell on the Easter message of hope and a new life in Christ Jesus that awaits us when we reach the end of our earthly life. Jesus is risen from the dead so that we might have everlasting life. Praise God.

Mary, Megan, Carrie and Andy;s wife and the children, so sorry for your loss. Steele and Joan were close to my heart as a college student. You all miss this dear man and his big heart. Steele was a real gentleman. I did some work for Lew and Steele years ago and it was Steele who led the effort with true character, integrity, and trust. I always had the highest regard for him. I'm sure he will rest in peace.

Steele's character was that of a man whom I "could've, should've, would've" been. Belonged to the "Greatest Generation". Admired him immensely. RIP.
