Not sure what to say?

I would like to say that Stepan was that doctor who cared for his patients, he was also a father who must have had the patience to raise up two upstanding sons. My brother in law, John, Is a Good, compassionate, caring man And also now a grandad in his own right !! I have met Peter, also a stand up guy - I think what matters in life is how a person shows up for those they love. I find that to be true of John, and he had to have learned that from his parents, as those are the formative years...

This, as we approach the 1st Father's day without Stefan, know that he is resting well with the angels in heaven for all the good works that he did in his career, AND also for the fine, caring, successful, special son he has in John, who has graced us in our family by marrying Luanne. We are also proud to have him in the Baker family. Rest Well !!!

John and Luanne (Jeff and Jessica), have comfort in knowing that Papa Fajans is sleeping with the angels. Be certain that the earth has no sorrows which the heavens cannot heal. Dr. Fajans ran the race at a steady pace and he finished the course...well done good and faithful servant. Blessings to the family, Wanda Rector

Etta and I want to be added to all those whose lives were enhanced by their exposure to Steve and Ruth Fajans. We doubt that there are words that could be found which reflect the empathy, compassion, guidance and support they individually and as a couple provide for faculty and fellows joining the department and as friends and companions who shared many global experiences with the Fajan's. We do not think we need to add to the eulogies written about Steve's illustrious career but let it be...

May God continue to bless your family with the good legacy. Your father and mother have set an excellent example. Healthy, dedicated workers and loving family beliefs!!

Dear John and Luanne. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sending you LOVE and HUGS. Laurie and Rod Baker

Stefan proved how having a "strong will" prolongs life, but he did it with such purpose. Having accomplished so much in his many years of researching and teaching others about, and treating diabetes, he still continued to collaborate on the subject, looking for more answers right to the end. Ever since your family became our next door neighbors in 1957, Stefan and Ruth were pillars of strength with unwavering dedication to their family. It was a pleasure and honor growing up next door to...

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

My condolences to the family. I did yard work for Mr.and Mrs.Fajans in 1960 while I was in high school and always was treated so kindly. RIP to them both with loving memories.
