Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan,
How kind of you to write us. Your husband must have been a very special man, and he certainly was too young to die. We will visit his grave each week when we visit Marnie's and will say a prayer for him. We are thinking of you and your family.

Joan,

We were so sorry to hear about Stefan. We feel lucky to have gotten to know you, Stefan and Noah through baseball. I know you and Noah will get through this difficult time. Please know that your friends are thinking about you.

Love,
Jen, Gary, Megan and Daniel Milavec

Joan, Noah, Ruth, and Elmer,
Know that the thoughts and prayers of the Temple Emanu-El's Men's Club, and entire congregation are with you.

Joan, Noah, Ruth, and Elmer,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you--I just read Psalm 139 and thought of you all. Diana and David join me in thinking of you. Stephen Schwab

Joan, Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for you and Noah. Your family is in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Joan and Noah,

I didn't get to know you and Stefan and Noah until last year under tragic circumstances. I was immediately struck by your kindness and genuine love for my brother Tony and his family. We can only be comforted by knowing that God has a plan for us all. I feel blessed to have known Stefan and was able to see, firsthand, how many lives he touched. I pray for you and Noah that God may comfort you in this difficult time and help you both find peace. You are so...

Joan, I am so sorry you have lost your beloved Stefan. You and he were fortunate to have shared your lives and in that sharing, to know how much you loved each other.

May you and Noah be comforted among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Joan and Noah...I never got to know you two very well because I moved away many years ago, but I sure knew Stefan. He and I always agreed that the fall was the best time of year because it was FOOTBALL season. I have lost a close friend of 25 years and last night, I was convinced that the Skins miss him almost as much as I do. I will never forget our adventure to the Super Bowl. Good luck in the future.

Joan, you and Noah are a living tribute to a wonderful man. His love for you, and yours and Noah's for him, will continue to provide countless blessings during your lives.
