Stella Marie Johnson

I remember dancing with Stella at the wedding of my daughter Laura to Stella’s son Phil. Soon after the music started I spied a tapping foot. It was Stella’s. I asked her dance. It was a fast number and boy could she dance.
And that’s the way I remember Stella; dancing on a beautiful Vermont afternoon after our kids tied the knot.

I met Stella while working as a cashier at Hannaford in Morrisville. Although I only knew her as a customer she quickly became my friend. She would proudly talk about her beautiful granddaughter, Ivy and she would always light up when she spoke of her family. I am sending my deepest condolences to her family. I know she will be missed by me and many, many others.

Stella was such a bright light in the choir. She never let on that she was sick and I had no idea she was battling cancer. I am so sorry she is gone. My wife and I will miss her.
