Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of the death of Stella Jones. Her late husband John, my mother (Elsie Lorenz Frost) and 23 other cousins had Williams Jones and Cecilia Titman Jones for grandparents.

I remember my grandmother’s (Olive Jones Lorenz) stories of Blairstown the farms and the family there. I remember my mother’s stories of summer in the country, of staying in the “wash house” the part which remained after a farm house burned. I have always believed that it was the house where...

Our heartfelt condolances to the entire Jones family. her spirit will be missed. We grew up across the street from Stella's Store, where we learned to shop, socialize, and waited "for the bus"...all under the watchful eyes of the Jones family. Yes, Stella was the last of my mothers canasta club from the Marksboro women. God Bless her memory.

Steve and I are so sorry to hear of Stellas passing. She was a wonderful person. Steve and our family will be forever in the kindness your Mom and Dad showed us over the yrs. the one thing we enjoyed was the yearly news letters she send us evey Christmas as to the happenings in your family

Dear Jones Family,

My deepest condolences are with you at this time of sorrow.

Stella was almost like a mother to me during my stay at 5 Bridge Street in Blairstown from 1999 to 2006. I will always cherish good memories of my stay in her home. A good lady with a big heart and was always there during my rough & tough days.

She will be missed very much. May her soul rest in peace.

To the Jones Family:
I have very fond memories of my youth growing up in Marksboro and spending time up at the Jones store and residence. For many years you were a second family to me. I send my condolences and prayers. We can rest knowing that Stella is in a better place now.
