STELLA LEWANDOWSKI, passed away peacefully in the childhood home she loved on Aug. 26, 2006. Stella lived a long and happy life. She worked at Ameritrust Bank for 35 years. Stella was an avid reader, enjoyed her soap operas, movie magazines and loved cats. She is preceded in death by her parents; her devoted sister, Sr. Mary Melaine, SSJ, TOSF; and her daughter, Dolores Solomon. She is survived by her son, Richard Christopher and his wife, Debbie; grandchildren Matt and Lori Christopher, Shay and John Greven and Michael Christopher; great-grandchildren Sydney, Marcus and Charlie. She will be missed by close friends, Jeff Fleming, Julie Bednarczyk, Maureen and Jack Kinney and Jim and Hank of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Funeral service Tuesday, Aug. 29, 11:30 a.m. at KOMOROWSKI, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME, 2258 PROFESSOR AVE., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Cantius Church, 12 noon.
