PARKER, Stella M. - Of Swartz Creek, age 91, died Thursday, January 9, 2003 at Kith Haven Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, January 13, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Evangelist Don McBride officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Community in Christ. Visitation 5- 8PM Saturday and 1-8PM Sunday at the funeral home. Stella was born in Black Hills, South Dakota on February 19, 1911. She married Marion F. Parker on September 22, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a member of Bristolwood Reorganized of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Community in Christ). Surviving are 2 daughters, Marsolie and husband Robert Parsell and Margaret Filer; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Bud", in 1992 and daughter, Laura, in 1958.
